My wife and I watch so many crime dramas that it is starting to bleed over into real life. For example, we were winter hiking last weekend and came across a scene in the snow, by a bog.

There was a pair of shoes next to a roll of toilet paper. About a foot away we noticed a pair of gloves and near the water line a jacket was suspended in a low-hanging branch.

Since there was no body semi-submerged in the water, we assumed we had either disrupted an emergency pooping, or a nearby meth head got bored waiting for his bowels to cooperate in cold weather and decided to hike back to the roadside to terrify passersby.

In retrospect we should have taken pictures and followed the tracks. But in the situation where reality and fantasy cross paths our answer was, "meh".
